Behind the catch

We catch it, land it and sell it. Same hands.

Adam and the crew have been catching, preparing and selling seafood on this stretch of coast for thirty years now. We know our cod from our bass and our whelks from our cockles, so whether it's a midweek supper or a special do, you're in safe hands.

Most of the boats we work with are little ones, under ten metres, fishing to strict seasonal limits. Looking after the sea bass and the coastline is how we make sure there's still good fish here for the next lot coming up.

Your local fishmonger in East Wittering

Something Fishy has been the family fish shop on The Parade in East Wittering since 1995. We sell fresh fish, shellfish, crab and lobster over the counter, most of it landed on the West Sussex coast within a day of going on sale. Not sure what to pick or how to cook it? Just ask. We've been doing this for thirty years and we're happy to fillet, prepare and talk you through it.

Our own boat, Warrior, and the small day boats we buy from fish the inshore waters off East Wittering, West Wittering, Bracklesham and Selsey. Shorter trips mean fresher fish and a counter that changes with the season, from sea bass, Dover sole and cod to Selsey crab, live lobster, mackerel and hand-dived scallops.

We deliver fresh seafood to homes and holiday cottages around East Wittering, West Wittering, Bracklesham, Selsey, Chichester and Bognor Regis. Staying on the coast for the week? Order crab, lobster and the day's fish and we'll bring it to the door, so a self-catering dinner is as good as anything you'd eat out.
