Our traditional fishmonger shop is situated in the middle of The Parade, East Wittering. We have a wide selection of fish, shellfish, crabs and lobsters.

If you are looking for fresh crab or lobster for a summer salad; oysters, cockles, mussels or scallops to make a seafood platter; or some seasonal white fish – turbot, bass, brill or dover sole to make a hearty fish supper, then we have what you need.

Fresh Fish Caught Daily

Much of the fish we sell is landed just hours before it reaches our counter, while our crabs and lobsters are kept alive until ordered. We also sell imported fish and are happy to supply you with bones, heads etc for Oriental cooking and stock-making.

Sustainable Fishing

Our inshore fishermen have been fishing for many years. They are never at sea for more than 12 hours, so the fish is less than a day old when landed. As a result of seasonal availability and weather conditions, some seafood may not always be available. If you're looking for something specific, we recommend ordering in advance and we'll do our best to source it for you.

Most of the fishermen we work with operate from small boats of under 10 metres and follow strict regulations designed to protect our coastal waters and fish stocks. 

By fishing responsibly and respecting seasonal and catch limits, we can help reduce waste and support the long-term sustainability of species such as sea bass. It's all part of ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy the fantastic seafood available around our coastline.
